Testimonials

Larry Bly,
Roanoke Times

The she-crab soup is some of the best I've ever tasted - a lovely combination of cream, a hint of sherry and big lumps of crab. For lunch recently, I had the classic Caesar, prepared from scratch with egg and a hint of anchovy over crisp lettuce. No corners are cut even with this simple presentation. Another classic presentation is the wedge of iceberg lettuce with blue cheese and bacon.

A friend recently enjoyed an extraordinary Ahi Tuna sandwich. It's a big old hunk of raw-looking Ahi. He loved it, but I'm from the canned tuna with mayo and pickles school, so I should not be commenting whatsoever. As a "real" tuna lover, he attests to it absolutely.
